to Polvese A Casino? There's even better: Isola Maggiore is set to become the "Island of the Book", a landmark in central Italy for the book market. The mystical place where she landed San Francisco is an ideal destination for inviting writers looking for inspiration, for literary awards, conferences and cultural events in thickness. But not all: the idea is to set up 15 stores permanent books with the involvement of commercial operators. In short, a real center of the book with an interesting induced tourism. The ambition is there but not only that. The project was advanced by the publisher and wholesaler of books Italo Marri, and was welcomed by the City of Tuoro, where the junta has given the green light to the signing of the program for the realization of the "Island of the Book" the mandate entrusted to the Culture Lorenzo Borgia. A first step preliminary to the establishment of a Foundation ad hoc which will bring together public and private partners. The lowest common denominator between institutions and entrepreneurship on the one hand it will be the enhancement of the town and especially of Isola Maggiore, the other a widespread dissemination of the book in a strategic context in terms of tourism for the benefit of operators and also beyond.
